Biography<\/em><\/strong>\u2014 Iyad Dayoub<\/em>\u00a0is Professor of Communications Engineering, He has been awarded BEng from\u00a0University of Tishreen\/Latakia\u00a0<\/em>in 1993 and completed his Post Graduate Diploma from\u00a0Damascus University<\/em>\u00a0in 1995. He received the MSc degree from\u00a0Nancy University<\/em>\/National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine\u00a0(<\/em>INPL<\/em><\/a>)<\/em>\/ France in 1997. He awarded his PhD in 2001 from\u00a0Valenciennes University<\/em>\/ Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnology\u00a0(<\/em>IEMN<\/em><\/a>)<\/em>\/ in collaboration with Alcatel Business Systems\/ Colombes-Paris.<\/p>

Professor Dayoub\u00a0published<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0over 200 papers in international Journals and referred conferences. He is\u00a0IEEE Senior member<\/em><\/strong>, member of several\u00a0Journal Editorial Boards<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0such as Electonics & Signal Processing Journal, and member of several international conference advisory committees, technical program committees and organization committees.<\/p>

His current Research activities are 5G & beyond such as mmWave communications, cognitive radios, NOMA, full-duplex communications, IoT with IA, new waveforms (both Radio and Radio over Fiber). He has\u00a0Sound background in\u00a0Intelligent Transportation Systems<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(Railways & Vehicular Communications) where He is\u00a0seconded to the IRT-Railenium<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0for 2 months a year since 2017. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
